Pressure-test your Go, Kubernetes & AWS before the interview

Built for Senior and Principal backend roles: verified questions, runnable Go exercises, and a study plan that tells you where you are weak.

Every answer links to the official documentation — so you can check the reasoning instead of memorising someone's answer key.

A real question from the free demo

A mutating admission webhook with `failurePolicy: Ignore` times out while the API server is creating a Pod. What is the outcome, and what is the risk that configuration accepts?

Answer: The Pod is created without the webhook's mutation, because Ignore means a failure to reach the webhook is not treated as a rejection; the risk is that a webhook injecting a required sidecar or setting silently stops doing so under load

A real coding exercise

The config that panics on write

LoadDefaults is supposed to return a config map with defaults applied, and callers then add their own keys. It compiles, it reads fine, and it panics the moment anyone writes to it. Fix it so the returned map is usable.

func LoadDefaults(overrides map[string]string) map[string]string

Write it, run the tests, see which cases fail — in your browser. The Go interpreter runs on your machine and your code is never uploaded.
